1. Saranac White IPA Sampling
Where and When: Uno Chicago Grill. On Thursday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Why Go: Make the weekend come faster by starting it early. Specials include $3 for Saranac White IPA as well as $3 snacks.
Price: Free to attend. Specials apply.

It’s My Park Day
Where and When: Cunningham Park at 193rd Street and Union Turnpike. On Saturday from from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go: You’ll get to take part in West Cunningham Park Civic Association’s efforts at maintaining the park.
Price: Free  

3.
Spring Concert
Where and When: The Church on the Hill, located at 168th Street and 35th Avenue. On Saturday at 8 p.m.
Why Go: The Community Singers of Queens will perform an array of songs from various genres, including everything from classical music to Sixties Doo Wop. Price: $10 donation requested  

4.
Mother’s Day Plant Sale
Where and When: Queens Botanical Garden, located at 43-50 Main Street. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 6 p.m.
Why Go: Because Mother’s Day is Sunday and there is nothing better than a beautiful plant to go along with the jewelry you bought weeks ago.
Price: Plant prices vary.

Bayside Diner
Where and When: At 207-07 Northern Boulevard. On Sunday.
Why Go: Because Mother’s Day brunch is already on your list of things to do this weekend.
Price: Food and drink prices vary.
