1. Martini Night

Where/When: Sip City, 16 Middle Neck Road. On Friday night.

Why Go: Not only will there be specials on drinks, but a live DJ will be on-hand to get the party started.

Where/When: Flushing Meadows Corona Park. On Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: This celebration, honoring the Year of the Tiger, features boat races, food and performances.

Where/When: . On Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Why Go: This event will feature special guests, including Daryl Strawberry, as well as plenty of food, giveaways, and activities. Aside from all that's planned for guests, the community day doubles as a fundraiser for the Darryl Strawberry Foundation Against Autism.

Pricing: Free to attend.

4. Live DJ

Where/When: Plum NY Restaurant, 47-39 Bell Boulevard. On Friday and Saturday night.

Why Go: The pumping music will only enhance your drink choices. Plus, the bar is open until 4 a.m. and your cab ride won't break the bank, since you'll be close to home.

Pricing: No cover charge.

Where/When: Near 19th Street and 23rd Drive. On Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: Even though this might be a little farther than our usual events, the day's activities, featuring food and live musical performances, are well worth the trip.
