2. Leonard's of Great Neck

Where/When: 555 Northern Blvd. On Friday or Saturday evening.

Why Go: Along with pleasing your palate with fine cuisine, this restaurant will also stimulate your visual sense, crafting its menu items into artistic creations.

3. 4th of July Kick Off

Where/When:  , 40-05 Bell Boulevard. On Thursday, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Why Go: First, everyone gets in for free. Second, women will enjoy discounted drinks until 2 a.m. Third, you can ride Diablo, all night, for free. Last, you'll catch Season 3 of "Bikini Bull Riding." Need I say more?

4. Tasting of Harpoon IPA and Harpoon UFO

Where/When:  39-02 Bell Boulevard. On Thursday night.

Why Go: Along with great specialty cocktails and mouth watering appetizers, patrons will marvel at the chance to win four tickets to Saturday's Subway Series game at 4:15 p.m. If you don't win on Thursday here, there's always your second shot on Friday at Stawberry's.

Where/When: 2135 Jericho Turnpike. On Saturday, until 1 a.m.

Why Go: You'll have a selection of cocktails, wines and beers at your disposal. Once you've gotten your drink of choice, you can kick back and enjoy the conversations, watch television or play pool.
