Little Neck Patch will now combine the “Grab & Go” events for kids with our lineup for adults, providing readers a one-stop shop for fun. 

This Friday, join the Lexiebean Foundation in their fight against pediatric cancer at Leonard's of Great Neck, which will host a black tie dinner gala featuring "a lavish evening of dancing and a silent auction."

Then wake up early Saturday for a five-mile walk-a-thon to benefit people with developmental disabilities. Free Brunch will be provided to all those who walk.

Where/When: Leonard’s of Great Neck, 555 Northern Blvd., Great Neck, Friday at 8 p.m.

Why Go: Dress up for an elegant evening of dancing and entertainment by “Trance-Master” hypnotist John Cerbone, who has performed on MTV. Tickets sold to the event go to benefit the Lexiebean Foundation, helping families affected by pediatric cancer get through tough times.

Pricing: $100 per ticket

Where/When: Queens Centers for Progress building, 81-15 164th St., Jamaica, Saturday at 8:30 a.m.

Why Go: Start your morning walking to help people with developmental disabilities. You’ll log in an easy five-miles starting at Kissena Park and get a free t-shirt for all your hard fundraising work.

Pricing: Donations welcome!

Where/When: 73-50 Little Neck Parkway, Floral Park, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Why Go: Frolic in the apple orchard and jump aboard a hayride. Then walk through the farm’s maze of midway games where you’ll find decadent treats and a magic show. Be first in line for the free carnival rides!

Pricing: $10 per ticket for all ages

Where/When: St. Robert Bellarmine Elementary School, 56-20 214th St., Bayside Hills, Saturday at 1 p.m.

Why Go: The East Bunny wouldn’t miss this egg rolling contest and neither should you! Come for story time and games. Watch The Real Georgie Porgie perform his magic tricks. The Bayside Hills Civic Association will host the event on church grounds.

Pricing: Free

Where/When: Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County, 100 Crescent Beach Road, Glen Cove, Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Why Go: Author Sheila Isenberg will recount the real-life details of Chicago millionairess Muriel Gardiner and her heroic feats in defying the Nazi regime by attempting to save World War II refugees –one precious soul at a time.
