Get Out: Body (and Mind) Tune Up

Health and diet advice from experts like Dr. Oz — just in time for summer

In honor of International Nurses Week, we’re giving you a good dose of healthy choices for the weekend. You’ll get an energy boost from Dr. Oz himself at the Highway to Health Festival.

Then, attend the Earth Day Fair and focus on making our planet a healthier place. Let nutrition author Anna Lappé show you how a clean planet can start with clean organic food on your plate. With so much renewal, you’ll be revved up for the 27th Annual Queens Biathlon, where the starting line begins at Alley Pond. The run/bike race will turn you into an Iron Man (or woman). That is, if you can reach the finish line!
