Where/When: Flushing Meadows Corona Park, at Meadow Lake. On Friday, at 6:30 p.m. 

Why Go: This culturally filled event will feature live music and a film screening, all from the Latin nation of Venezuela.

3. End of Summer Bash

Where/When: . On Friday night, after 10 p.m.

Why Go: With DJs Raous and OMG spinning, the night is bound to be an eventful one. You'll keep dry, partying the night away, while probably sleeping your way through this weekend's hurricane.
