Where/When: Alley Pond Park at 76th Avenue and Springfield Boulevard. On Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Why Go: Definitely one to do with the kids, if you can swing it. This event will bring theatre to the park with this classic.

3. Happy Hour

Where/When:  Bourbon Street. On Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Why Go: While the $3.50 Apple Martinis and Cosmos apply to the three-hour window, the drinks will be flowing well into the night.

Where/When: . On Sunday at 1 p.m.

Why Go: Because you're determined not to let the summer heat keep you from enjoying scenic views while you ride by.

Why Go: Who can resist fine Italian cuisine? The appetizing dishes and full bar will leave you more than satisfied.
