Where/When: Uno Chicago Grill. On Saturday, at 9:30 a.m.
Why Go: The kids will have their fill of festive fun with pictures with Santa, face painting and tattoos, while parents do what we know we do best - eat! A buffet will be available.
Pricing: With a toy donation, kids get in for $8. Without a toy donation, kids pay $10. Parents pay $5.
4. Bayside High School Holiday Festival
Where/When: Bayside High School. On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

5. 19th Annual Menorah and Christmas Tree Lighting
Where/When: At the corner of Bell Boulevard and 53rd Avenue. On Sunday, beginning at 5 p.m.
Why Go: This two-decade-old tradition heightens holiday spirits for the entire family. From watching the Menorah and tree being lit to performances and treats, there's something for everyone.
