3. You've Got Hate Mail

Where/When: Queensborough Performing Arts Center. On Saturday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Why Go: This comedy focuses on relationships and the ways the internet helps to facilitate love connections, affairs and break-ups alike.

4. Story Telling

Where/When: Fort Totten, meet at the Visitor's Center. On Saturday at 11 a.m.

Why Go: This family friendly activity will not only get everyone out of the house, but will serve to foster your kids' love of nature.

5. Valentine's Jazz Brunch

Where/When: Bayside Historical Society. On Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.

Why Go: This is a great way to set the mood for the upcoming romantic holiday. Experience live jazz, while having brunch and Mimosas in the Castle.
