UPDATE: Free Mammograms By Appointment Offered In May
NYC residents over 40 should consider taking advantage of a no-cost breast exam.
Update: Councilman Weprin's office called Patch to clarify that exams are by appointment. See details below.
The American Italian Cancer Foundation and Council Member Mark Weprin and are sponsoring no-cost mammograms on Friday, May 25, from 10a.m. to 4p.m., as well as no-cost breast exams.
Women over 40 years old who live in New York City and have not had a mammogram in the past year shoul come to the mobile van outside 73-03 Bell Blvd., Weprin's office.
