Flooding Possible

With rain on Mother Nature's agenda, the possibility of flooding is looking unfavorable for Bayside Hills, and the Bayside area at large.

The National Weather Service predicts rainfall of between 1 and 2 inches overnight.

The Bayside Hills Civic Association is sounding the warning about obstructed sewers and nearby catch basins, which they ask residents to clear of litter.

This simple step, they say, of clearing away any refuse that might block rain water from receding, can possibly save streets and houses from flooding.

BHCA is confident that the Alley Creek/Oakland Ravine projects will remain strong.
