4. We all know that every once in a while, the folks at NASA get super excited about a new planet with, ice, or some such commonality with our planet. This is another one. NASA seems giddy with the thought that the planet could easily hold life—especially marine life—reports the Daily News. Maybe folks with enough money will get to take a rocket there if catasrophe, global warming or the apocolypse of prophecy ever wrecks our planet.

5. The 109th Precinct is reporting a string of four home robberies in Whitestone and North Flushing. The break-ins are occuring during the day, between 11a.m. and 3p.m. The perpetrator is thought to be a male Hispanic, about 30 years old, standing about 6 feet tall at a medium build. He may wear white gloves. You ought to have plenty of lighting around your home or business, report suspicious persons, have extra locks, and be vigilant!
