A few days ago I was having a conversation with the mother of one of my daughter's fellow classmates. After starting a discussion about the upcoming, kindergarten, school year she told me that she is planning on moving to Bayside this summer.
In the conversation she mentioned her concerns about not waiting too long to make the move, as she did not want her daughter, 4 years old, to be negatively impacted by such a change.

The talk and her fears about how a move could affect her daughter made me think about kids who do experience a move, at elementary, middle or high school ages to, let's say, somewhere more significant than another town within the same borough.
I thought, 'what about those kids that move to another state, or country,' which leads me to this week's Family Talk topic.
