Douglaston Little Neck Library Releases October Slate of Programs

Find out which classes the library is offering this month.

The Douglaston Little Neck Library has released its schedule of classes, which includes a sign language program, for October.

The library, located at 249-01 Northern Blvd. in Little Neck, will offer Sign, Read and Play at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 30.

The class, which is aimed at children ages 3 years and below, will include signing time with Jacqueline Ciaramella, a certified American Sign Language instructor, as well as basic vocabulary reinforced with songs, rhymes and other activities.

The library will offer its Mother Goose Time at 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 21 and 28. Its English Conversation Class will be offered at 1:30 p.m. on Oct 7, 21 and 28 and 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 10, 17 and 24.

Knitting and crocheting club will meet at 4 p.m. on Oct. 7, 21 and 28, while Picture Book Time will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 10, 17 and 24.

Toddler Time will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 11, 18 and 25.

And the Library Friends Executive Board will hold a meeting at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 17.
