Can We Talk?

Joan Rivers is doing just that at QPAC

Joan Rivers comes to Bayside this October with a performance at Queensborough’s Performing Arts Center (QPAC) on Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m. The famed comedienne is known for her distinctive voice and honest style. Dick Capri, best known for his appearance in Catskills on Broadway, will open the show.

“Our audience loves comedy and that’s why we have a lot of comediennes this season,” says Susan Agin, executive and artistic director for QPAC. “Joan is very relevant and honest. On a personal note, I really respect her commitment to her craft even after all these years and I believe in supporting artists that take their craft as seriously as Joan does.”

Joan Rivers is not only a stand-up comedienne, but also is a Tony-nominated actress, best-selling author, Emmy Award-winning television talk show host, and red carpet “diva” at the Oscars.
