Working with the foundation for 10 years, every Dime Savings Bank is an annual public drop-off site. Along with making it easy for bank goers to donate, employees of the Bayside branch all chip in with their own money to purchase gifts for the Toys for Tots Foundation as well.

Started in 1948, the Toys for Tots Foundation picks up the donated toys from each drop-off site in mid-December, which are then sorted, categorized and distributed to a number of organizations and police precincts.

All locations will be accepting toys until Dec. 13.
