Bayside Historical Society to Host Wine Tasting Event in November

The Bayside Historical Society is hosting its second annual autumn wine tasting on Nov. 10 at Bayside’s Papazzio.

The event, which begins at 2 p.m., will act as a fundraiser for the historical society’s public programs and operating expenses.

“People will be feeling good while they’re doing good,” said Alison McKay, the society’s director and archivist. “Last year, it was very successful. We had 80 to 90 people. It was an exciting event.”

The wine tasting, which will be held in Papazzio’s second floor ballroom, will include two reds, two whites and a prosecco dessert wine.

The event will also include hors d’oeuvres and the wine tasting will be led by Papazzio’s Dominick Bruccoleri.
