Bay Terrace Library to Close for One Week

Branch will shut doors on Nov. 29 to get upgraded for RFID-powered self service check-in and check-out services.

The Bay Terrace Library  will close later this month for upgrades and will remain closed for approximately one week.

The library, located at 18-36 Bell Blvd., will close at the end of the day on Nov. 29 and is expected to reopen within a week, a spokeswoman for the Queens Library said.

The branch will be upgrade to RFID-powered self service check-in and check-out services.

Currently, the Douglaston Little Neck Library, located at 249-01 Northern Blvd., is also closed as its roof undergoes an upgrade. It is expected to reopen in December.

In the meantime, local residents can visit the Bayside Library, located at 214-20 Northern Blvd., the Flushing branch, located at 25-55 Francis Lewis Blvd., or the Whitestone Library, located at 151-10 14th Road.
