Alternate Side Parking Suspended From Oct. 14 to 17

Drivers will not need to move their cars on Monday through Thursday for Columbus Day and Idul Adha.

Alternate side parking has been suspended from Oct. 14 to 17 for Columbus Day and Idul Adha.

There will be no street cleaning, so it will not be necessary for car owners in the five boroughs to move their vehicles on Monday through Thursday. Parking meters will remain in effect on all four days.

Columbus Day, which is on Oct. 14, celebrates explorer Christopher Columbus' arrival in the Americas.
