Alternate Side Parking Suspended for Sept. 19, 20

Drivers do not need to move their cars on Thursday or Friday as the city celebrates Sukkot.

Alternate side parking has been suspended for Sept. 19 or 20 in observance of Sukkot.

There will be no street cleaning, so it will not be necessary for car owners in the five boroughs to move their vehicles. Parking meters will remain in effect on the holiday.

Sukkot lasts a week, during which work is forbidden on the first two days.
