Announcements

Mobile service for the Bayside Library, located at 214-20 Northern Blvd., will begin on Jan. 7. The library will be closed for a few months to allow for a renovation.

As of Jan. 6, the Q36 line on Jamaica Avenue is scheduled to continue along Little Neck Parkway, while the Q30 will be extended to Queensborough Community College on weekdays. And the Q27 will offer overnight service.

State Assemblyman Edward Braunstein, D-Bayside, and former Assemblywoman Ann-Margaret Carrozza have kicked off their annual Valentines for Vets gift drive.
