Also on Monday, Alley Pond Environmental Center will offer its Wee Sprouts and Toddler Time programs, while the Douglaston Little Neck Library will hold its weekly knitting and crocheting class.

There will be an elder abuse workshop in Garden City on Tuesday.

Drop by Marbella Restaurant on Wednesday for the Women Living Consciously National Tour. There will be an AA meeting Wednesday evening at the Community Church of Douglaston.

Also on Wednesday, The Douglaston Manor will host a bridal showcase. And the Clinton Democratic Club will meet that evening in Flushing.

Theatre Time Productions will perform “Macbeth Did It” on Friday and Saturday at the Colonial Church of Bayside.

On Sunday, The Capitol Steps will provide political humor at Queensborough Community College. P.S. 188Q will hold its 60th anniversary alumni event on Sunday afternoon in Oakland Gardens.


The Douglaston Green Market is now open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays in the traffic circle of the Long Island Rail Road's Douglaston station.

The deadline for registering your child for universal pre-kindergarten at city schools is Oct. 31.
