Also on Monday, Alley Pond Environmental Center will offer its Wee Sprouts and Toddler Time programs, while the Douglaston Little Neck Library will hold its weekly knitting and crocheting class.

The Patti Schmidt Dance and Exercise Center will offer Irish step dancing classes on Wednesday.
Mobile service for the Bayside Library, located at 214-20 Northern Blvd., will begin on Jan. 7. The library will be closed for a few months to allow for a renovation.
As of Jan. 6, the Q36 line on Jamaica Avenue is scheduled to continue along Little Neck Parkway, while the Q30 will be extended to Queensborough Community College on weekdays. And the Q27 will offer overnight service.
State Assemblyman Edward Braunstein, D-Bayside, and former Assemblywoman Ann-Margaret Carrozza have kicked off their annual Valentines for Vets gift drive.
The Bayside Business Association will host its annual Taste of Bayside on Jan. 23 at the Adria Hotel and Conference Center. Attendees will be able to sample food and drinks from local eateries.
