Events

Northeast Queens residents will be able to begin voting on Monday for community upgrades that will receive up to $1 million in funding through the participatory budgeting process.

Also on Monday, Alley Pond Environmental Center will offer its Wee Sprouts and Toddler Time programs, while the Douglaston Little Neck Library will hold its weekly knitting and crocheting class.

Universal pre-kindergarten will begin Monday and run every day of the week after school at the Community Church of Douglaston.

There will be an AA meeting Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. at the Community Church of Douglaston.

On Saturday, the Little Neck Jewish Center will host Havdalah in pajamas.

The Duquesne University Tamburitzans will perform at Queensborough Community College’s performing arts center on Sunday.

Announcements

Alternate side parking is suspended Monday and Tuesday for the seventh and eighth day of Passover.

Mobile service for the Bayside Library, located at 214-20 Northern Blvd., is currently in service. The library will be closed for a few months to allow for a renovation.

Community Board 11 will host its next meeting at 7:30 p.m. on April 8 at M.S. 158.
