Also on Monday, Alley Pond Environmental Center will offer its Wee Sprouts and Toddler Time programs, while the Douglaston Little Neck Library will hold its weekly knitting and crocheting class.

APEC will also host a creative writing workshop on Monday evening. Community Board 11 will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday at M.S. 158 on Nov. 5. The board will vote on a controversial property being developed in Bayside by Tommy Huang.

The Lutheran Church of Flushing and Bayside will hold registration for its kindergarten gifted and talented program on Monday.

Tuesday is Election Day. Be sure to get out there and vote.

Bayside’s St. Josaphat Roman Catholic Church will host a History of the Mass on Saturday.

The Douglaston Green Market is now open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays in the traffic circle of the Long Island Rail Road's Douglaston station.
