10 Holiday Events Happening in the Next 2 Weeks

Thanksgiving is over, and the next crop of holiday festivities are being planned around the neighborhood.

If the warm weather is throwing you off, here are 10 holiday events upcoming in the next two weeks to get you feeling seasonal.

1. Arts on Stage will be  of Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa at .

2. The Queens County Farm Museum will be  and other holiday decor until Dec. 24. Proceeds will go towards the operating costs of the Museum.

3. Redeemer Lutheran Church will be hosting its annual . 

4. The Farm Museum is also hosting . Just bring your own sheers, and come away with a custom made wreath for $20.

5. 's will be host to a Christmas Craft Fair and Polish Bake Sale on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 4th and 5th.  The church to stop by to buy crafts  or a Polish baked good.

6. This is a big one: The Bayside Hills Civic Association will be hosting its  on Sunday, Dec. 5th. Highlights are to include a menorah and Christmas tree lighting.

7. Author Lidia Matticchio  Barnes and Noble in the Bay Terrace, promoting her children's book,  Nonna Tell Me a Story: Lidia's Christmas Kitchen. 

8. See  performed at Queensborough Community College.  

9. Join Irene Failenbogen and guitarist Liam Murphy for , performed in English, Yiddish and Hebrew in celebration of Hanukkah. 

10. The Jefferson Democratic Club of Flushing, 26th District is at the Clearview Golf Course Clubhouse on Dec. 9. The club is asking that attendees donate a gift for a child or veteran, care of Assemblywoman Ann-Margaret Carrozza's Toy Drive and Veterans' Gift Drive.
