Invitation: Bayside-Whitestone Lions Community Service Awards Night

The Bayside-Whitestone Lions cordially invites you to an evening of recognition for our boys in blue.

Dear Members Of The Community,

You are cordially invited to honor officers of the 109th and 111th precincts with the Bayside-Whitestone Lions International at Patrizias of Bayside tonight at 7PM.

Every year the BW Lions put together an evening to show our appreciation for the officers that keep our community safe.

Details:

Thursday October 25th at 7 PM.
Patrizias of Bayside 201-10 Cross Island Parkway Bayside, NY 11360

Tickets are $55 and include Dinner buffet, wine, and soda. Cash bar. 50-50 plus raffle prizes and many special guests. Proceeds from the tax deductible ticket purchases will be used for charitable causes in our community.

Everyone is encouraged to attend.

Obviously, it…Read More did not receive the support of the community, at least not enough to make it a successful venture. This is sad. Every Sunday, rain or shine, I would stop at the market and purchase something. My favorite was the bakery stand. Often, when I stopped in the afternoon I would get two FREE French breads with my purchase. Parking was never a problem. The vendors where friendly and very informative. It was a perfect setting for the picturesque nature of this community. Too bad it is not returning.
