The Bayside Historical Society is seeking a qualified Event Booking Specialist.

Our landmark building is ideal for weddings, sweet sixteens, family celebrations, birthday and anniversary parties, reunions, and other special events.
We are looking for an industry professional to help us book events in our historic building, The Castle formerly known as The Officers’ Club at Fort Totten.
Requirements:
- Strong Communications Skills
- Experience in the event planning industry
- Professional demeanor
- Marketing skills
- Familiarity with contracts and sub-contractors
The Castle at Fort Totten is not a catering hall; It is a NYC landmark complete with a library, archives, learning spaces and a museum.

We have several beautiful rooms available for rent for any occasion.
We are seeking qualified candidates to expand our horizons by enrolling new clients and booking new events for our historic building.
This is a commission based position. Commission is negotiable.
