Wednesday: SNAP Phone Bank, National Art League Classes

Northeast Queens for Action will hold a phone bank that will focus on cuts to SNAP programs.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. Attendees will find out where it is taking place once they register.
The Bayside Library, located at 214-20 Northern Blvd., will offer its Mother Goose Time class for children, ages 18 months to 2 1/2 years, at 11 a.m. The class includes nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and play time.
The National Art League's class schedule for the day includes techniques in flower and still life painting, oil painting, mixed media, figure drawing and drawing.
The gallery is located at 44-21 Douglaston Parkway.
