Wednesday: Mother Goose Time, Sign Language Class

The Bayside Library will also offer its Toddler Time program today.

The Bayside Library will offer its Mother Goose Time and Toddler Time programs today.

The former, which is aimed at children between the ages of 18 months and 2 1/2 years, begins at 11 a.m. and includes nursery rhymes, songs and play time.

The latter, which is aimed at children between the ages of 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years, begins at 1:30 p.m. and includes songs, stories and fingerplays.

The library is located at 214-20 Northern Blvd.

And the Douglaston Little Neck Library, located at 249-01 Northern Blvd., is holding its Sign, Read and Play class at 1:30 p.m.

The course is led by American Sign Language instructor Jackie Ciaramella, who will teach songs, stories and rhymes to children, ages 3 years and below, through sign language.
