Tuesday: Homework Help at the Library, National Art League Classes

The Douglaston Little Neck Library, located at 249-01 Northern Blvd., is offering homework help for grade school children this afternoon.
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade can receive assistance in small group's with three retired school teachers during the event, which begins at 3:30 p.m. Parents should preregister their students with the library's reference desk.
The National Art League, located at 44-21 Douglaston Parkway, is offering several classes today, including oil painting from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and figure drawing from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
