The Bayside Library, located at 214-20 Northern Blvd., is offering homework help today for local schoolchildren.
Teen volunteers will help children in kindergarten through sixth grade with school assignments, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
The Douglaston Little Neck Library, located at 249-01 Northern Blvd., is holding an English conversation class at 3:30 p.m.
Attendees will be able to improve their English skills through discussions about holidays, cooking, shopping, art, music, family and other topics. The emphasis will be on vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. For more information, call 718-225-8414.
