The Douglaston Little Neck Library, located at 249-01 Northern Blvd., will offer English Conversation Classes at 3:30 p.m. Attendees will learn to improve their English grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary.
The National Art League's classes for today include exploring light, contrast and color in abstract and representational approaches as well as oil painting.
The gallery is located at 44-21 Douglaston Parkway.
Queens Restaurant Week kicked off on Monday, giving borough residents the opportunity to eat prix fixe meals at more than 40 borough eateries.
Northeast Queens restaurants participating in restaurant week include Bourbon Street, Donovan's of Bayside, Papazzio Restaurant, Pier 25A and many others.
