The Oakland Little Neck Jewish Center will host a Simchat Torah celebration at 6:30 p.m.
The evening will include singing and dancing for the Jewish holiday, which marks the end of an annual cycle of Torah readings. The center is located at 49-10 Little Neck Parkway.
The National Art League, located 44-21 Douglaston Parkway, will offer oil, flower and still life painting, mixed media and drawing classes today.
