Letter: Linsanity Restored Knicks To Our Sets

The following is a letter submitted to Patch and others by Bayside Hills Civic Association President Michael Feiner:

Dear Community,

If we give credit where credit is due, this has been a real collaborative effort: Our elected officials, (Speaker Quinn, Tony Avella, Mark & David Weprin, Bob Turner, Dan Halloran, Scott Stringer, Ed Braunstein, Rory Lancman & Helen Marshall all received my emails) our social media - my Facebook friends and AOL address book contacts, Patch, the Bayside Hills Civic Association, (sure, why not take some credit?) the residents of Bayside Hills, our community boards, plus others responsible that I have not included.

Nevertheless, when push comes to shove, it was "Linsanity" that restored our MSG Cable back on the air.

Also, please remember although this issue has been resolved, there are still quite a few other issues that we'll continue to be looking into! And thank you Sen. Tony Avella for continuing to ask for legislation preventing something like this from happening in the future.

Thank you for the most amazing story to come around in years.

—Michael Feiner, BHCA President
